Student Success Committee (SSC)

In 2021, the Oregon Legislature passed Senate Bill 732, amending Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 328.542 and 329.095. The bill requires each school district to establish a committee that elevates the voices of students and community members who may otherwise go unheard, in order to promote the success of every student we serve.

Our Student Success Committee is designed to help school leaders identify factors that either support or hinder the success of students who have historically been excluded, impacted, marginalized, or underserved by Oregon’s educational systems. This committee serves as a platform to engage community voices and improve our students’ outcomes.
